Good morning. squarespace does not automatically save and so this deleted and I wanted to smack someone.

• in the last week, several Bathhouse guests have complained that they’ve noticed worms on the spa’s floor and developed UTIs since visiting the Williamsburg and Flatiron locations.

• the glaring hypocrisy of Signalgate was not lost on Hilary, who was in such a rush to assume the moral high ground in the situation she might as well have shot herself from a cannon to arrive there. of course, to democrats “assuming the moral high ground” means writing an oped calling MAGA republicans “dumb.”

YESS

• the mean-spirited imperialistic attitude (not that imperialism was ever really in good fun) the US has taken toward Canada seems to have been toned down after our president had his first phone call with the PM of his northerly neighbor. this is good news because international relations were beginning to feel like a pyramid of bitch boys.

• after a search and seizure raid of the popper manufacturer Double Scorpio was carried out, production of the “muscle relaxant” (I’m sure you know what I originally wrote there) has been halted.

LIT

• in honor of Amy Sheardan’s survey exhibition at the Whitney called American Sublime (which opens 9 April), the cover of New Yorker Magazine is her painting “Miss Everything.” if you feel like a field trip, you can admire the display at Casa Magazines.

MIAM

• no photos are allowed at the underground Spy Bar at the Raffles in London which serves an excellent vesper and has been voted best international bar by Inside Hook.
